Figurewise ("we," "us," or "our") provides automated financial reporting dashboards to small and mid-sized businesses ("you" or "your"). This Privacy Policy explains what information we access, how we use it, and how we protect it. We've written it in plain language on purpose.
To provide our service, we access financial and operational data from the accounting, point-of-sale, and payment systems you connect to us — for example, QuickBooks Online, Xero, Square, Clover, or Stripe. This may include:
We access this data on a read-only basis. We do not create, modify, or delete any records in your connected systems.
You connect your systems to Figurewise through each provider's secure authorization process (such as OAuth). This means you grant access directly through the provider, and you can revoke that access at any time from within that provider's settings. We never ask for or store your login passwords to those systems.

Your financial data is presented only to you and to authorized users you designate. We do not show one client's data to another client. Access to your dashboard is protected, and internal access by Figurewise is limited to what is necessary to operate and support your service.
If we ever offer aggregated industry benchmarks in the future, any such benchmarks will use anonymized, aggregated figures only — never your identifiable data shown to another party.
We store the minimum data necessary to operate your dashboard, using reputable service providers (such as Google Workspace and cloud hosting). Access credentials and tokens are stored securely and are never exposed publicly or in client-side code. While no online service can guarantee absolute security, we take reasonable measures to protect your information.
We retain your data for as long as you are a client and it is needed to provide your service. You may request that we delete your data at any time, and we will do so within a reasonable period, except where we are required to retain certain records by law. You can also revoke our access to your connected systems at any time through those providers.
Figurewise connects to third-party providers (accounting, POS, payment, and hosting services) to deliver our service. Your use of those providers is governed by their own privacy policies. We encourage you to review them.
Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, or delete your personal information, or to object to certain processing. To exercise any of these rights, contact us at the email below.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we'll revise the "last updated" date above. Material changes will be communicated to active clients.
